Altar Society
St. Dominic Altar Society
Traditionally for 10 or more years, the Altar Society has sponsored three candle sale fundraisers a year:
- January – Presentation of the Lord
- April- Palm Sunday
- Oct/Nov: Fall -Thanksgiving etc.
These funds are a used to support St Dominic Parish with Altar wine, Hosts, corporals, baptismal bibs, towels, all of the linens (green, purple, white, gold) for the liturgical seasons and special feast days that are used throughout the Sanctuary. All of the flowers and linens and special (floating) candles, glass vases used for special occasions are all supplied by the Altar Society.
We depend on these candle fundraisers to provide the funds we need to accomplish our mission as these have been one of our most successful fundraisers.
On the weekend of October 24th & 25th, we will be having our Fall Candle Sale at St. Dominic Catholic Church before and after each scheduled Holy Mass. We pray for continued success and your support for St Dominic Catholic Church Altar Society.
This year we are taking pre-orders so to avoid crowds (form below). We will adhere to all guidelines set forth by St Dominic and The Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Candle donation is $5.00 for an individual candle and a Case of 12 is $60.00. Please feel free to prepay or you may pay at the time you pick up your candles.
